Kasey Smith is a multidisciplinary artist/curator weaving together craft traditions and performance-tinged exhibitions to create unique, ephemeral art experiences. After graduating from UCSC with a degree in Intermedia Art, she spent two decades in the San Francisco Bay Area focusing on guerrilla art about local history and ecology. This included a social practice piece about historic hand painted ads;  guerrilla art shows about Faberge Eggs, Tiffany stained glass, and their interrelationships with the local ecology; and a series of DIY interactive art events in moving trucks. As of 2022 she now lives and works in the Netherlands, where she’s focused on learning about Dutch art history and ecology.
