1. What role does experimentation play in your art practice?

Experimentation plays a major role in my art. I have discovered that mixing mediums, especially watercolors and colored pencils, challenges my imagination since there is little room for any correction. Once the color is applied it cannot be erased. This is exciting since I have no idea what the outcome of the composition will look like until it is completed.

I hope my work provokes thought and the appreciation of colors. Like food and clothes, a favorite thing.

I think that is based on individual personality. Each person has unique qualities. I am finished when the colors of the composition make me smile.
