Liz Lidgett’s passion for art allowed her to see that competent art consulting for private companies and corporations was a need that wasn’t being filled. With that in mind, she began her art consultation business, Adore Your Walls, in 2013.
Since then, her business has grown and she recognized once again that online and national consulting – the type that exists for furniture and interior design – was completely absent for the world of art and has expanded her services, including a gallery space.
With her developed expertise, Adore Your Walls has evolved into her new brand: Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design. Within the rebrand, Liz continues to consult, partner with artists and regularly contribute to design publications across the country.
Liz Lidgett founded her business as an art advisor in 2012 after working as an in-house curator for a corporate collection. Seeing the need for corporate art advisory throughout the Midwest, Liz began working with several corporate headquarters based in Des Moines, Iowa. Her business quickly expanded to work with personal collections, restaurants, hotels, and public art projects.
In 2015, Liz launched Adore Your Walls, an online art advisory product, that opened her work to a national audience. She has also worked as an art expert and stylist for several publications and online sites and was featured on Reese Witherspoon’s site, Hello Sunshine in the Handmade *Mostly series.
2019, brought the opening of Liz Lidgett Gallery and Design which was a natural progression of the business. She is a volunteer for many local arts and culture organizations including the Des Moines Art Center, Des Moines Metro Opera, and Ballet Des Moines. She is a member of ArtTable, the leadership organization for professional women in the visual arts.
She lives in Des Moines with her husband Nick Renkoski, their children Rocky and Effie, and their ever-expanding art collection.
