My work is based on my gratitude and appreciation for the beauty around me, be it a simple gesture, a striking feature or a pretty little song bird. Although I have some formal training, I'm giving myself space to relearn through self-study and experimentation. I'm influenced by the Impressionists and the Fauves. My mood and the subject matter determine the mediums and the way I choose to express myself.

I do a lot of animal or portrait based work, but I've been known to color outside of those lines. I try not to limit myself.
