I am an emerging artist. Even though I have always been an artist, I haven't always painted. I mention this because it's part of my journey and story. When I was young, I contained my creative expression as a precious quiet thing inside because I didn't believe I was worthy to take the time for myself or to clear out enough space for myself to seriously do the work. I was also afraid someone would tell me it was bad and wrong, and I couldn't afford that. Basically, I didn't believe I could claim my worth and value. I wasn't really brought up to believe that my voice mattered, and my own perception was that I was not allowed to be powerful.
After leaving a 2nd unhappy marriage, I got in touch with an expansive creative expression that described itself as youthful, feminine exuberance through a painting I did of my 12-year-old niece. I wanted to protect her youthful feminine exuberance and realized that it was in me and in fact, it is in everyone. It is the true and innocent excitement we feel when we allow ourselves to be authentic and follow what excites us most allowing our intuition and love to guide us.
It is our creative expression, our connection to the expansive world of God, Unity, the Unified Field, whatever you want to call it, we all have it inside. My work is about honoring, protecting and unleashing it in everyone outside of any cultural ideas of separation. My imagery is of women and sometimes nature, right now because women and nature are the most immediately recognizable material expression of the wild and uncontained creativity that is the feminine.
I create bespoke portraits called Pure Essence Power Portraits that are an activation of a person's pure and innocent expression to help put them live in their heart and genius abilities so they can create a life they love. I use my intuition to tap into their energetic field and then I allow the portrait to come through me.

Youthful feminine exuberance is inside everyone. It is our creative spark, our connection to spirit and our receiving from God and the divine. It is our intuition and our deepest desires that lead us to our heart. When we are in our heart, we are with God and it is what our heart desires that leads us there.
