My name is Carola, I am a painter from Frankfurt/ Main, Germany. With my background of art and dance education I focus on dance and movement as a main theme in my artwork. I also deal with icon-portraits and photography.
You can find my work in several (online) galleries like artboxy, expometro, effetto arte fondazione and several more with exhibitions all around the world.
Dance and movement are one of the main themes in my paintings. It's my intention to make the power, strength and beauty, the emotions and accuracy visible for the audience. I try to catch this one moment in dance and translate it as a specific pose or attitude onto the canvas.
Beneath dance and movement I also focus on icon-portraits. It’s the unique power of outstanding and exceptional persons that I transfer to the viewer in my own kind of perspective and presentation.
In photography I deal with natural and colourful motifs that enable me to present the things that surround me in my own way. It offers a huge variety and the possibility to create new perspectives.
