Deadline Approaching: Submit Your Work to the “Birds” Virtual Exhibition

Artists, Your Final Chance to Submit is Here!

The Women in Arts Network’s inspiring open call, “Birds,” has entered its final week and we’re calling on women-identifying and non-binary creators worldwide to share their vision before the deadline on October 9, 2025.

Throughout history, birds have carried profound meaning. They are symbols of freedom and fragility, of journeys taken and destinations longed for, of the spaces between earth and sky. Birds can embody resilience, migration, song, silence, and even the fleeting nature of time itself.

This theme invites you to explore birds in any way you choose literally or symbolically. Perhaps your work captures the sweep of wings across the sky, the quiet stillness of a perch, or the intricate geometry of feathers. Or perhaps birds appear in your work as messengers of memory, metaphors for hope, companions on life’s journey, or reflections of your own inner states.

About the Exhibition

Birds is an international online exhibition that celebrates the many ways we see and connect with these remarkable creatures. Birds have long captured our imagination as symbols of freedom, hope, fragility, and transformation. Whether it’s the quiet moment of a single wingbeat, the vastness of migration across skies, or the metaphor of a bird as a guide, messenger, or dream this exhibition encourages deeply personal and creative interpretations.
