Timeless Portraiture for Those Who Dare to Be Remembered.
Timeless Portraiture for Those Who Dare to Be Remembered.
Atlanta Weiss is a second-generation portrait artist, art entrepreneur, and founder of Art Wisdom Education. With over three decades of experience across Berlin, London, and beyond, her practice fuses the craftsmanship of the Old Masters with a contemporary understanding of identity and representation. Her interdisciplinary approach spans photography, drawing, paint and new media—capturing the unseen essence of her subjects.
Through both her artwork and her educational work, Atlanta empowers artists and collectors alike to see portraiture not only as a visual experience, but as a vessel for legacy, strength, and transformation.
My work is devoted to women—their complexity, their quiet power, and their right to be remembered on their own terms.
As a second-generation artist, my work centres on portraying women not just for their beauty—but for their strength, complexity, and quiet power. My portraits are intimate studies of identity, resilience, and transformation. Each one is an invitation to be seen—not as an object, but as a force.
In each portrait, I seek not only to capture their likeness, but to mirror the inner essence that defines them. I bring classical techniques into dialogue with contemporary themes, creating portraits that are both timeless and fiercely present.
Whether I’m working with drawing, camera or paint, my process is rooted in deep listening and intentional seeing. The result is a visual legacy—one that honours not just how women appear, but who they truly are.
My lifelong exploration centers on the triad of Identity, Image, and Reputation—especially as these relate to women navigating visibility in both public and private realms. I am deeply inspired by historical portraiture, mythology, feminine archetypes, and the quiet elegance of old-world craftsmanship. At the same time, I draw energy from modern narratives of resilience and self-reinvention. My inspiration often emerges in the dialogue between tradition and rebellion—between what must be preserved and what must be reimagined.
