Our mind is made of colours and our body is made of colours.

I was born in Rome, Italy, and here I have always lived, studied and worked. My encounter with drawing and painting goes back to when I was a child, but besides art I also loved literature and the ancient worlds: I took classical studies and I got my degree in Archaeology, and I specialized in the publishing field. I worked as proofreader and draft writer for different art and historical publishers both on paper and digital. Meanwhile, I gave myself both professionally and passionately to horse riding, the other great passion that resonated in my life since not so many years ago: I was riding instructor for children for long, until a series of unfortunate events made me step back and close that door.
In 2010 I started taking art lessons with master painter Giorgia Marzi, who taught me techniques unthought of before, and made me aware of my skills.
It was then I understood that painting could be more than just a hobby, so I dove into the study of art and started experimenting in order to find my personality.

In my portraits I want to capture the emotion and enhance it with colors and chromatic contrasts. When I create a painting I imagine the subject as taken from the frame of a movie and transferred on the canvas: there’s a story behind that very expression and that look, and every single viewer who looks at one of my works is free to interpret.
Colours are for me the most powerful means of expression: our mind is made of colours and our body is made of colours.
I use oils, acrylics and watercolors. Often it is the subject who brings to me which technique to choose, sometimes the support I want to work on. I prefer rectangular formats, but I also experience other possibilities.
I find myself in a very productive phase of my stylistic evolution, but my aim is to improve more and more.

I am a member of a famous association of painters in Rome, “100 pittori di via Margutta” (100 painters of Via Margutta), with whom I exhibit at least once a year in Rome's historic artists' street, Via Margutta.

I have participated in several group exhibitions and national art awards.
