I just love Human beings :)
I just love Human beings :)
Born in 1978 in a working-class suburb of Paris, I came to art late, after a career in public service with marginalized communities. My mixed heritage and LGBTQ+ activism deeply inform my work, which is committed to making visible what society erases.
French visual artist based in Paris, I create paintings and mixed media works that reflect on contemporary themes of transformation, time, and resilience. Through layers of color, embroidery, and collage, I aim to capture the tension between change and persistence, inviting viewers to contemplate what endures amid constant flux. With a focus on both personal and collective narratives, my portfolio seeks to connect audiences across cultures through visual storytelling.
“I paint human beings because I love human beings.”
My work is figurative, infused with surreal elements and rooted in political and social engagement. I use acrylics, ink, collage, embroidery, and watercolor—techniques historically associated with the “minor arts”—to challenge the boundaries between craft and fine art. My practice explores invisibility, the rewriting of sacred codes, historical oppression, and the search for truth beneath idealized pictures.
