Jean Cherouny

I am a painter who draws her inspiration from my body movement.  Living and working on the Island of Aruba has given way to painting using new materials.  Over the past decade I restricted myself to only painting using my rollerblades on the canvas.  I developed the style of active expressionism in which I am unfiltered and free to explore design and material with an open mind. In a new series I am calling “Dream To Fly” I explore further my human nature. My ultimate goal is to be as free as nature when I am creating each of my works.  This uninhibited mindset opens me up to painting using pens, gouache and other materials on paper.

I have shown and been published in a wide variety of venues.  Living in Aruba I am represented in galleries and Art Fairs world wide.
