The painting depicts three of my favorite houses and many other details on Jevrejska Street. Silhouettes of people like ghosts inhabit the street - they appear and disappear, but are always there. And this is my home - feeling of moving street and monumental buildings.

House number 21 on Jevrejska street. Unique colored brickwork, silhouette, metal roof, windows - everything is beautiful in this house. And the plane trees around - the lungs of the street.

This is the house number 4 that became my guide into the world of Jevrejska street vibe. I wanted to make a quick sketch, but I got carried away by the unique display cases, decoration and defects, and I communicated with the house for two amazing months.

This is my dedication to Coco Chanel. I don't know how to describe this gorgeous woman who freed women of the 20th century from corsets and other attributes of artificial beauty by giving them a completely new fashion. She gave every woman an opportunity to reveal her true feminine elegance and beauty. I like the way she looks on my portrait: she knows everything about the person opposite her, knows her way, and does everything to reach her goals and protect her beliefs. And at the same time – she is very-very lovely, my dear Coco...

Oh, this devilish talent, Vivienne Westwood! Spirit of freedom and protest, true punk culture, and real fashion adventure – that awaits everyone who decides to look inside this universe. She is a pirate, a fighter, a genius, and a Woman. Love her endlessly. She shakes and colors my world. Viva la Vivienne!

My dedication is to Nina Simone. Touching voice, amazing piano performance, and piercing poetry wake up my soul every time I hear them. She is a self-made woman, so strong and beautiful. She has been in my mind and soul for too long, so I decided to make her visible to me. Thank You, Nina.

I met Zarina Hashmi in 2025, when her body had been dead for several years, but her soul touched me through her incredible portfolio of 36 woodcuts, "Home Is a Foreign Place." She did not leave me a chance; she spoke to me directly through those lines and materials... The one and only artist who could do it before was Toulouse-Lautrec, and suddenly somebody from the contemporary era came to me. And it was a Woman. My Woman.
