Malak El Masry

Malak El Masry is an Egyptian/ Jordanian young artist and founder of Fantasiam Art Studio. She found her passion for art in high school and has developed her skills since then as a self-taught artist. Her inspiration and art style stems from her love for Claude Monet, Pablo Piccaso, Salvador Dali, Rudolf Hausner, Gustav Klimt, Georgia O'Keeffe and Edvard Munch. She is influenced by the impressionist styles and more specifically surrealism.

She professionally sold her first painting at the age of 17 and since then has been commissioned to complete custom artworks for client homes and businesses. She launched her art based business Fantasiam to provide murals and custom artworks and has been doing so ever since. In 2017 her studio doors opened up to support other local artists like herself by displaying and selling their artwork as well as delivering art courses. Since 2020, due to COVID restrictions her studio has physically shut down, but she continues to work online on her Fantasiam platform to support fellow artists, promote her work and deliver cool art tips and video content.

She has completed 4 major exhibits for her artwork from 2013 to date, and continues to showcase her artwork in her personal studio. She is professional painter, muralist and art teacher; a latin dancer and dance teacher; and finally a singer in a rock and blues band.
