You Are Enough
Nirit Zer (b. 1975) is a multidisciplinary artist and the double First Prize winner at the Arte Laguna Prize in Venice. Her work explores identity, memory, motherhood, fracture, and the ongoing pursuit of self-acceptance.
Her life project, You Are Enough, is a 30-year-long visual autobiography, made from countless self-portraits created across a wide range of media, including photography, painting, illustration, textiles, video, 3D, digital art, home videos, and installation.
Throughout the years, Nirit’s artistic practice has evolved into an extensive archive of personal moments and experiences. She captures intimate reflections on womanhood, the complexity of human relationships, resilience, and the constant search for inner peace and self-love. Rather than striving for perfection, her art gently invites viewers to embrace vulnerability and accept the imperfect beauty inherent in being human.
Nirit holds a BFA from The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. Her work has also received recognition from the Art Directors Club in New York, the Santorini Biennale, the Rome Triennale, and Graphis New Talent Awards, among others.

Hey, I’m Nirit, creator of You Are Enough.
You Are Enough is my autobiographical, 3 decades long, self-portrait.
It all began in 1995, in a New York City nightclub.
I had just landed in the most exciting city in the world. I had an open ticket, two oversized bags, and one explosive heart ready to take over the world.
That night, I took the first self-portrait in what would later become my life project.
Since than, I’ve been creating endless self-portraits, all a part of You Are Enough , in every possible medium: photography, painting, illustration, digital art, 3D, home videos, ready-mades, installations, text, textile, and virtual media.
Each work carries the name of the date it was created.
Each one reflects who I was at that exact moment in time.
You Are Enough is a 30 year long visual diary.
An ever changing mega self-portrait.
A 3 decades archive of a woman.
The project exists both virtually and physically:
Each portrait is a limited edition tangible piece (1/60).
