1. Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

I am a self-taught visual artist. Since childhood, I have been surrounded by paintings and books, and I used to visit galleries with my parents. As I grew up, I spent hours reading Art books and spent hours in Museums. I was a lawyer and humanitarian project manager before deciding to quit all the “work/salary security” to live fully as a creative person.

Like automatic writing, my visual creations express my trust in intuitive manifestation.

2. What inspired you to become an artist?

I have always written, and imagination has always been my companion through dreams and stories. I came to drawing and painting quite naturally, as it is another expression of inner expression. I decided to live fully as an artist ( freelance) because there was no doubt about how I wanted to value my time. I don’t think that it is a question of “becoming” an artist, though. I think that creation is humans’ natural gift.

3. What is your creative process like from start to finish?

I don’t have a specific one, I don’t sketch, some day I have the feeling to draw, so I take my pens, and I draw, someday I want a big painting, so I go to buy a giant canvas, and I begin to prepare it before painting. Sometimes, I have an idea, more like a figure or a feeling, but the artwork always reveals itself as I do it. Primarily, I work on one creation after another in an intuitive improvisation.

4. Where do you find inspiration for your artwork?

In my feelings and my inner work, I know that humans have so much potential to set free. I see clearly the sick system we live in and its attempts to make us believe we have no choice. This is my inspiration to create in order to deliver a message.

Imaginary realms, desconstructed bodies, strange flowers, vivid colors with markers or only black and white, my obsession is in the search of beauty in simple lines.

5. How do you handle creative blocks or periods of low inspiration?

It is my body’s message to rest. I try to accept it, as I know I will come back changed and with more depth. So when it happens, I take this time to develop myself and my meditation/health/inner work.
