My practice explores the shifting relationship between identity, emotion, and the environments we inhabit. Working through painting and illustration, I use surrealist imagery and figurative symbolism to investigate the complexities of the inner self, creating visual spaces where psychological and physical realities intersect.

The human body is central to my work. I see it not only as a vessel of lived experience but also as a landscape shaped by memory, vulnerability, and transformation. Through distortion, fragmentation, and symbolic reconstruction, I seek to give form to emotional states that are often difficult to articulate. These altered figures become reflections of resilience, longing, uncertainty, and growth.

Colour functions intuitively within my practice, extending beyond descriptive realism to evoke atmosphere, tension, and spiritual presence. Rather than illustrating a specific narrative, I use colour and symbolism to create emotional resonance, allowing meaning to emerge through association and personal interpretation.

My paintings are not intended to provide definitive answers. Instead, they invite contemplation and encourage viewers to bring their own experiences into the work. I am interested in the space between what is seen and what is felt, where identity remains fluid and constantly evolving. Through this process, I aim to create images that speak to the shared human experience of becoming.
